Here We Go GIIANTS, Here We GO!!! posted on 12/10/2008

Ok so its 11-2, 3 games left.... Whats the next stepping stone? Those pesky Cowboys. This team just never knows how to go away quietly do they? Eli has a big task at hand this week though. He needs to get his receivers going. He ain't got his main man Plax, but you know what.. I am very confident in the rest of the wide outs thats on that field. Lets remember Toomer and what he can contribute. Lets also not forget how much of a better, and actually pleasing to watch, TE Boss get down that field. Look no one is saying that the Cowboys wont come in like they have somthing to prove, but boy are they a little banged. Thank goodness for the Steelers to destroy and crush their spirits hopefuly the Giants will bury their bodies in "another season without playoff contention" grave.

Leave my man Plax alone!! posted on 12/10/2008

Now we all know the situation with Burress and how his not so smart, carry a gun tha slips down your pants at a night club move. And I know many out there don't agree with what he did and how he is portraying the NFL brand (and I call it a brand because thats what this league has brought itself to) and its other players and staff. I am not saying that anyone should be anywhere they feel will put them in danger, but you know what sometimes danger finds you, and thats something thats been happening to NFL, primarily black, players for some time now. Its very discomforting to know that the league and some of its reps can't understand why some of their own players do not feel comfortable in their own homes sometimes without protection. A lot of these players come from very poor neighboorhoods that watch them now on television. Some get envious and jealous and go for all they can. One thing I am suggesting though is to know how, when, and where to use your weapon. You have to be very educated and know what you are doing whle protecting yourself an yes this includes what state you carry it in, uhhh heemmm... J. Porter is bold and right for the statements he made. I would not want my family or my life to be caught off gaurd because someone feels lucky, well they bit off a bigger bite then they could chew. Hopefully Plax can chew it up & hauwk it out. He got the suspension and he is serving whatever punishment is going to come to him. Funny though how the Mayor yells and screams for Plax's punishment and silently whispered away the punishments for Sean Bell's killers (NYPD).
