Hello All...
Allow me to introduce myself...
I am a 23 year old passionate (sometimes too passionate) Yankee fan from the Hudson Valley...My first memories of the Yanks include Steve Sax, Mel Hall, Matt Nokes and Kevin Maas. (great huh)
I will be discussing all things Yankees as well as other baseball-related things in the future... I also like to sprinkle in some things about the sports media from time to time...God knows the Yankees have plenty of interesting people sitting in the press boxes on a given night.
Go figure that I start my blog in the middle of a lot of cloudiness when it comes to the Bronx Bombers...
Every night, I will post an entry about the game that was just played. There will be a section, "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" which will highlight some personal feelings about what has just transpired.
Below is my "Good, Bad and Ugly" post for the season so far. Please check back right before the Tigers game for more.
THE GOOD:
Getting through the toughest part of our schedule, one game over .500
Joba and Mariano being lights-out...They shorten the game immensley, Kind of reminds you of what Shields and K-Rod did during the Angels title run in 2002.
THE BAD:
The starting pitching; Kennedy and Hughes have been terrible (I am trying to be polite on my first blog) and the bullpen is sure to wear out very quickly if the starters don't start accumulating quality innings.
THE UGLY:
Injuries...This injury bug seems to have been with us for the past few seasons....Jeter first, then A-Rod (who will be out of the lineup tonight, btw), Bruney (who is most likely done for the year) and of course Jorge Posada-that one hurts the most.
CHECK BACK TONIGHT BEFORE AND AFTER THE TIGERS GAME!
THANKS FOR READING AND AGAIN, WELCOME TO MY BLOG OF ALL THINGS YANKEES!

LOL! I'm a 24 year old Yankees fan from Brooklyn and I remember Sax and Nokes and all those clowns! I had all their cards. I remember Jim Abbott's no-hitter, Melido Perez, Scott Kamieniecki, Pat Kelly, and the immortal Mike Gallego! Remember those guys? LOL! Yankee baseball on WPIX 11, Holy Cow! I even remember Rizzuto on those Money Store commercials!
