Joba in the bullpen?

From Joba in the bullpen?

So, the debate has not been heard from ever since the Yankees said, "Joba is a starter, he has #1 stuff", but do we really want to see Joba every 5th day, as opposed to 4x per week. Mo looks like he can close for 2more years, and then his deal is up. Do the Yankees think that they have a closer in the minor leagues. Mark Melancon, is said to be waiting in the wings. BUt, Joba, just has closer written all over him. Can't you see him doing the "Superman" after he closes the clinching game of a world series victory. I think that he is being handled the right way right now, but Ian Kennedy, and Phil Hughes are arms the Yanks have in minor leagues, and would be on any other teams 25 man roster. So let the debating begin, what year does Joba go to the bullpen. My bet is before the end of the season. we see him coming in the 8th inning instead of coming out.

and as a side not. Who thinks they can predict the 1st trade the Yankees make? We all know that they can't play a season without making some kind of trade. And the faster Matsui shows he can play the field, the quicker Nady gets moved. Kennedy struck out 11 and gave up one run, this guy has skills and won't be in the minors for long. He can't be, not even for the Yanks.. I'm just saying, what you think...

They  are waiting on Austin Jackson, and he is one call from the majors, we will see him in September, but are we really sold on Gardner. He gets the balls to the side of him better than he can go back to the wall, hes not afraid, but for all his speed, he doesnt have instincts like say Tori Hunter, or Carlos Gomez of Minn, again I'm just saying, trying to stay ahead.

How far can this rotation go, can they give the team 65 wins?

In a nutshell...

Keep Joba in the rotation, he's more comfortable there than in the bullpen.

My trade prediction: Jose Veras for any arm that can boost the rotation. Matsui's starting to come around. He hit 2 home runs the other day.

As for Austin Jackson, I heard somewhere that once Johnny Damon's contract is up, Austin Jackson is in! Johnny's contract is up this year so Austin Jackson fans, get excited!
