Bronze medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, rose to fame when he defeated the legendary Bernard Hopkins (50-5-1-1, 32 KOs) by split decision to capture the middleweight crown in July 2005 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

IBO Cruiserweight Champion Danny Green pummeled Roy Jones, Jr. en route to being awarded a decisive first round TKO victory Wednesday in his native land of Sydney, Australia.  

Green (28-3, 25 KOs), who predicted that he would quickly defeat Jones (54-6, 40 KOs), landed a series of powerful combinations at the outset of the fight and English referee Howard Foster justifiably decided to halt the bout after only 122 seconds.
