lam Dunk Contest Title, but he sure earned it this year.  Nate battled the defending champion, Dwight Howard, in the Finals and one-upped the ultimate gamesman in the end.  Together they put on possibly the greatest show in the history of the contest since the days of Michael Jordan battling Dominique Wilkins.

Long term, we all know AJ isn't the answer for a squad looking to make an NBA Finals run.

Dwight Howard's lack of interior offensive development also bothers me. Sure he can get his dunks and three-foot hooks in the first three quarters of games, but what about the fourth? He's not quite there yet, and Orlando will really miss Nelson in fourth quarters as well.

veraging 14 points and 12 rebounds per game; the latter number is good for third in the NBA, behind Dwight Howard and Marcus Camby. Biedrins is shooting an astonishing 56% from the floor, though it must be said that most of his opportunities come within a couple feet of the rim. Still, those chances need to be capitalized upon, and Andris does exactly that.

Dwight Howard

Why he’s the MVP:  Three months ago people wouldn’t stop talking about this guy and when he won the dunk contest I was worried the love fest was going to get crazy and I would begin to get annoyed of Howard.  But the exact opposite has happened.  He is the best player on a very good Orlando Magic team that no one seems to believe is for real.  He is putting up great numbers and plays very tough D.  Why can’t this guy get more love?  Remember, he still doesn’t have much of an offensive game.
