I still am in shock over not bunting last night but its time to get over it. Tonights game is 100 % on the offense. They need to score whatever it takes, ifits 10 runs they need to get 10 if its 20 they need 20. Hank is right they need to step up. The pitching has been great the last few games and if the offense was average they would have won most of them. So tonight and the next few are on the offense. I dont care who you face the offense needs to get the job done. Jeter, Giambi, Abreu, Cano, A-rod, Damon, Gardner, Betemit get the job done tonight and lets face Boston with a positive feeling.

Here's a guy who landed an job with the Yankees solely because his father was friends with George Steinbrenner; the two met while involved in the horse racing industry. So young Brian was able to land an internship that other just as, if not more, qualified college students can only dream about. Lots of people can make something of an opportunity; not everyone has it handed it to them like Cashman did. Many people could learn the ins and outs of how major league baseball operates, given the chance. I could have learned all about the waiver rules, too.

at his home in San Diego and that he believes he could help bolster the Yanks' rotation. Hank Steinbrenner went on to say that he has thought about bringing Wells back and that he has seen him on tv. This looks like a real possibility, especially if Igawa coughs one up tonight against Detroit.
